May 30 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM| Free
Join bug expert Professor Mike Draney from UWGB for a hike through the Prairie ecosystem in Baird Creek to explore what bugs live in the Greenway, what they interact with, the good, the bad, and the fun facts about all the littlest inhabitants of the area. Registration is required for this hike as space is limited.
The Baird Creek Preservation Foundation (BCPF) hosts free guided hikes through the Baird Creek Greenway that are open to the public. All Baird Creek hikes are child-friendly. Please remember to dress for the weather and be prepared to encounter a few hills and unpaved trails. BCPF hikes are led by experts in the related area and are a great way to learn, have a little fun and enjoy the outdoors.
The Baird Creek Preservation Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate the preservation and restoration of the Baird Creek Watershed in order to enhance its value as an ecological, recreational, and educational resource for generations to come. If you have questions about the hikes or about the Baird Creek Preservation Foundation please contact Kristine at 920.328.3505 or email@example.com.
