Help us celebrate Earth Day by joining us for the annual Baird Creek Cleanup on Saturday, April 24th, from 8:30 a.m. until noon at Triangle Hill (500 Beverly Rd). Work assignments begin at 8:30 and the cleanup will take place from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers can help improve the trail system by assisting with cleanup efforts as well as planting native species throughout the Greenway.

Participants will divide into teams based on their interest and head out to explore, pick up litter and debris, remove invasive species, or plant native species throughout the Greenway. All are welcome to participate; children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Volunteers should dress for the weather, wear work gloves if desired and wear shoes/boots in case it’s muddy. If your group of 10 or more will be helping, please let us know by sending an email to info@bairdcreek.org.

Starbucks is sponsoring the event and will be donating drinks and snacks for the morning!

With the world of a global pandemic, please try and keep physical social distance. Masks are not required, but please keep your distance. Hand sanitizing tables and stations will be available. Groups and families that come together will not be separated.
