The Baird Creek Preservation Foundation has been chosen by Keep America Beautiful who is representing Castrol and the LA Rams, in their goal to clean up waste in every city the Rams visit this season. This “Leave the City Better Than We found It” initiative, will clean up the 9 cities the Los Angeles Rams will be playing in during the 2021 NFL season and Green Bay is one of the cities!

Our foundation is partnering with this Keep America Beautiful clean up initiative and working with local partners too to make it happen; the City of Green Bay Parks Department, the Green Bay Police Department, Green Bay Fire Department, Girl Scouts and the Bay-Lakes Council, Boy Scouts to celebrate NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY on Saturday, September 25th, from 7:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a massive Baird Creek Greenway clean up initiative. We will have several locations and tasks so we ask that you sign up online so we know how many to expect and then can email out assignments and locations as we near the event. There will be limited food and drinks in the morning provided by Starbucks!

Tasks will include but are not limited too: Creek Clean Up, Trash Pick Up, Buckthorn Cutting, Raking, Seed Planting, and more…

After the event (11:30 am – 1:30 pm) join us at Triangle Hill for a food truck lunch and booths from all the partners so that everyone can mingle and the LA Rams can see that our green and gold community is all that we say it is. Neighborly, friendly, supportive and loyal to our community and all that it holds; including nature and the ecosystems of Baird Creek. Let’s leave it better for the next generation with your help!!!

Thank you to our sponsors for helping us keep our city beautiful!
