Daisy Level

Trail Adventure

Go on an adventurous hike and learn about the outdoors. Play a game while hiking and earn your Trail Adventure Badge. Find out what you need to do to get your body ready for a hike or walk in the woods or around the neighborhood. Our Baird Creel leader will help troops learn how to learn about the outdoors and explore the outdoors in a safe and responsible way.

Eco Learner

Troops will learn to minimize their impact on nature and protect what’s out there. When you’ve earned this badge, you’ll have learned three ways to protect the environment. Our Baird Creek leader will help troops learn how to have fun and enjoy the outdoors responsibly tracking and completing hands-on activities that will teach these protection tips.

Outdoor Art Maker

Explore the outdoors and use what you see and hear to make different kinds of art projects. When you’ve earned this badge, you’ll know how to look at nature as an artist and make your own outdoor art. Our Baird Creek leader will take the troop on a hunt for pieces of nature that will then be used in several art creations.

Snow Adventure

Be active outside in the snow: when you’ve earned this badge, you’ll know how to do active and fun things in the snow. Our Baird Creek leader will do some fun science experiments and active art creations in the snow with the troop.

Brownie Level

Trail Adventure
For this badge, they will be trail running and experiencing different kinds of hikes throughout the outdoors. This will be both fun and challenging to get them in the great outdoors.

 Our Baird Creek leader will help build self-confidence, help you regulate your emotional state, and enhance your performance on creative visualization!
Bugs
Explore the world of bugs and learn more about these little creatures that do so much. They will be able to see bugs in action and explore bug homes! Our Baird Creek leader will help you earn this badge, and prepare you to know all about the different kinds of bugs.
Eco Friend
For this badge, they will treat outdoor spaces with kindness and teach others how they can, too. When they have earned this badge they’ll have found new ways to protect our natural world and the living things in it.

  4. Practice being kind

Our Baird Creek Leader will help them be able to observe and take care of the wildlife life, along with the creatures living in it!

Hiker

To Earn the Brownie Hiker Badge, they will have to:

  1. Decide where to go
  2. Try out a hiking skill
  3. Pick the right gear
  4. Pack a snack for energy
  5. Go on your hike!

When they’ve earned this badge, they’ll know how to hit the trail for a hike. Our Baird Creek leader will help guide and instruct the skills it takes to become an excellent hiker.

Outdoor Adventurer

For this Badge, they will have to explore outdoor activities that are new to them.

  1. Play outdoors in a new way
  2. Explore nature
  3. Buddy up and play outdoor games
  4. Learn a camp skill
  5. Care for the outdoors

When they’ve earned this badge, our Baird Creek Leader will have tried a lot of new things activities for them to do outdoors and learn which activities they want to do again.

Outdoor Art Creator

For this Badge, they will find out how you can make their own art outdoors and have fun doing it.

  1. Find art ideas outdoors
  2. Make something!
  3. Dance or make music outdoors
  4. Be a nature photographer
  5. Design with nature

When they’ve earned this badge, they will have known how to do different kinds of fun art projects outdoors. Our Baird Creek Leader will have taken them into the outdoors to explore their imagination to get them into thinking of new ideas and projects that can spark from their minds.

Junior Level

Juniors are explorers when they go camping for the first time, CEOs when they market and sell cookies, scientists when they perform energy audits and go on nature walks, and they’re product designers and writers when they earn their innovation and storytelling badges. Not to mention change-makers, big-thinkers, and future leaders!
Animal Habitats

For this Badge, they will find out more about where animals live, how they play, and how humans can help them.

  1. Find out about wild animals
  2. Investigate an animal habitat
  3. Explore endangered habitats
  4. Help protect animal habitats

Our Baird Creek Leader will have helped them earn this badge by understanding more about wild animals and how to protect their homes.

Eco Camper

This Badge will help them find out how to protect the environment when they go on a camping trip. This badge gives a great opportunity to learn more about the principles of Leave No Trace.

  1. Learn the Leave No Trace Seven Principles
  2. Plan meals with the environment in mind
  3. Prepare a minimal impact campsite
  4. Have fun with Leave No Trace
  5. Take a conservation hike

When you’ve earned this badge, you’ll have learned skills for minimal impact camping and know how to protect the environment when you go outdoors. Our Baird Creek Leader will help you explore and protect the environment and also learning new ways of minimal impact that you can use when camping on your own!

Flowers

For this Badge, they will discover that there’s more to flowers than just good looks. When they’ve earned this badge, they’ll know all that’s wonderful about flowers.

  3. Find out how flowers help people
  4. Have fun with flowers
Flowers are a very important part of our world and our ecosystem. Our Baird Creek leader will help them provide food for insects and herbivores, and also take part in protecting these flowers.
Outdoor Art Explorer

For this badge, they will know how to find the art in nature and create their own outdoor artwork. They will be able to experience nature first hand and explore, create, and design different kinds of art.
