Celebrate American Heart Month with a hike in the Baird Creek Greenway on Saturday, February 18th at 1 p.m. at Christa McAuliffe Park (3100 Sitka Street). Nate Vandervest, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist and Certified Running Coach will lead you through the Greenway and get your heart pumping as you hike through the beautiful snow-covered Baird Creek trails.
The Baird Creek Preservation Foundation (BCPF) hosts free guided hikes through the Baird Creek Greenway that are open to the public. All hikes are child-friendly and begin at 1 p.m. at Christa McAuliffe Park (3100 Sitka Street) unless otherwise noted. Please remember to dress appropriately and be prepared to encounter a few hills and unpaved trails. BCPF hikes are led by experts in the related area and are a great way to learn, have a little fun and enjoy the outdoors. For parties of 6 or more, please call ahead.
